Since 2000 state spending has increased by 65%, or about 27 billion
dollars annually, approximately 10 billion dollars more than the rate of
growth in population and inflation.
Abolish the Margin Tax
Despite record surpluses The Texas Legislature increased taxes on Texas
business owners by more than 6 billion dollars in the last budget.
